What is an eSIM?
An eSIM, short for embedded SIM, is the digital version of a SIM card. Thanks to a microchip installed on your phone, eSIM-compatible phones allow you to get a wireless plan and activate it immediately without waiting for a SIM in the mail or going into a store.

Activation Guide
As of right now, only members with an iPhone XR or newer will be able to access Infinite with an eSIM. We’re working on getting eSIM on Android devices soon, so stay tuned!
Before using an eSIM on Infinite, please make sure:
- Your phone's operating system is updated.
- Your phone is unlocked (you may need to call your current carrier to unlock your phone).
- Your wireless data connection is turned off and you're connected to Wi-Fi.
- Have important details like your current carrier’s account number, port/transfer PIN and billing ZIP code ready to go.
Activate your eSIM on Infinite

Open the Boost Infinite app and sign in to begin activation.

Enter the IMEI2 number of your phone. You can find it by dialing *#06# or by going to Settings and selecting About.

Select Yes! Activate with eSIM now.

Choose if you want a new number or if you’re transferring your current number. The eSIM push for activating a new number can take a few minutes to process. Activations are usually complete in less than 30 seconds.
05—
Press Activate eSIM.
06—
Before installing the new eSIM profile, remove or delete any physical SIMs or eSIMS that you won’t be using. This includes all SIMs from the network you’re porting from.
07—
Press Install eSIM and Continue. If you’re transferring your current number, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the transfer.
08—
Press Install eSIM and Continue. If you’re transferring your existing number, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the transfer.
09—
Power cycle your phone.
*The eSIM push for transferring your current number can sometimes take up to 24 hours

4. Choose if you want a new number or if you’re transferring your current number. The eSIM push for activating a new number can take a few minutes to process. Activations are usually complete in less than 30 seconds.
5. Press Activate eSIM.
6. Before installing the new eSIM profile, remove or delete any physical SIMs or eSIMS that you won’t be using. This includes all SIMs from the network you’re porting from.
